SPS Security’s colleagues at Auto-Trail, Grimsby, raised £4,250 for The Hydrotherapy Pool Appeal, Humberston Park Special School in Grimsby.
Auto-Trail, based on Europarc in Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire, has raised an incredible £28,000 for various charities since 2007. Fundraising events include a gruelling west to east coast cycle ride, the Coast to Coast challenge, the Yorkshire 3-peaks and national 3-peaks challenges, and a popular golf tournament for suppliers and staff. Less gruelling events have included name cards, factory tours and open days for customers and staff.
SPS Security sponsored the Auto-Trail team when they undertook one of their exhausting walking challenges, and are delighted to have helped them achieve their target for this deserving cause. Fundraising is vital to help towards the running costs and upkeep of this facility.
Humberston Park Special School caters for pupils aged 2 – 19 years old, mainly subject to severe learning difficulties although there is a high proportion of children with extensive physical disabilities, complex or profound learning difficulties and additional sensory impairments. 120 children currently use the hydrotherapy unit, bringing brief respite from the stress they are subjected to by their daily confinement.
