Protect is the security capability of SPS Group, delivered by SPS Security, the company the group grew from in Hull in 1992. Directly employed, SIA-licensed officers and the group's own 24-hour control room protect people, buildings and assets day and night.

SPS Group's Protect capability is delivered by SPS Security Limited, established in Hull in 1992. It provides manned security guarding, GPS-tracked mobile patrols, keyholding and alarm response, open-up and lock-up, vacant property security and rapid deployment CCTV across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, coordinated from its own 24-hour control room in Hull. SPS Security is an SIA Approved Contractor, assessed by SSAIB, and 98% of its officers are directly employed.

How it joins up
Buy protect on its own, or combine it with other SPS Group capabilities on one site. Each service keeps its own specialist manager, with one senior point of contact across them all.
The control room monitors the fire, intruder and CCTV systems SPS Technical installs and maintains, and officers respond to activations.
Detect Protect + CleanOfficers open up and lock up around cleaning schedules, and report cleaning issues they find on patrol.
Clean Protect + TrainOfficers gain and refresh their SIA licence training through SPS Academy, a Highfield approved centre.
TrainReal examples of clients using several SPS Group capabilities on the same site. Client names are withheld for security and confidentiality. Train is part of every one: mandatory training for all our staff (safeguarding, site inductions, health and safety), plus added-value training from a broad range of courses.
